TGIF!!!!SOOO OUTDATED OR CAN BE TOTALLY RE-INVENTED???




Well it's yet another Friday, while everyone plans on club hopping and dancing the night away. I've come up with a cool new way to spend my Friday nights. For those of you who don't know 'Saturday is the new Friday’ so I’d rather do shin digs on Saturdays now, so instead of figuring what club to go hang out with the girls am going to bring the club home. The old tradition of BYOB {Bring your own bottle} should be embraced. So, I’ve decided that every Friday should be ‘bringing the bottle home’ this could vary from cocktails, to champagnes to red/white wines depending on your preference. Any who, this Friday we’re each going to make our very own cocktails and ohh, do I have a recipe for them girls….*evil grin*.

This could work for both guys and girls, totally! Come up with a different theme every Friday and have people look forward to a fun night in with the fellas. Play games and ladies give out ‘Cosmo’ scoops if you know what I mean.lol and make your own Friday night a fabulous and fun night.

Here Are A Few Tips On How To Pull This Off:   

Send a memo to a bunch of friends telling them what to expect this Friday. If you’re going to theme up your fun night add a dress code to it. That way everyone comes out looking as glamorous and fabulous as ever. Also, rotate houses so that way everyone gets to be a host or hostess. This would create a buzz amongst your friends keeping their spirits high for the weekend ahead. In addition to this, just like am doing give everyone a recipe and then they prepare it as they come. It could be meals, alcohol, candies or whatever makes your day.

Fruits: How important are fruits in our life? One might ask. Well these colorful God-given gifts to us are a blessing and a good way of flushing out toxins from they body. These keep the skin glowing and healthy and fight bacteria or diseases in the body. Citrus fruits such as oranges, pineapples and even watermelons and apples are a good and healthy way to keep the body metabolism flushed and clean.

Water: Ah, yes…like the saying goes 8glasses of water help promote a healthy lifestyle. Well, the funny thing is you don’t necessarily have to drink 8 glasses of water at a get go especially if you are not burning up the fat in your body and sweating out the water. A good way to balance out drinking water is to have a glass of water once you wakeup this puts you in a good mood throughout the day and aids easy toxic removal from the body. Keep the body moving by drinking fluids daily and reduce sugar intake also. And believe it or not, tap water is good water.

Excercise: Oh! I admit even I am too lazy to maintain a regular exercise routine. Not withstanding I am going to fight that negative desire to be lazy. BUISNESS CHICK TO SUPER HOT DIVA




I definitely would need a cocktail after work hours today; I'd have had to make a quick transition though from Business Chick to super hot Diva. Also, I can't wait to hear the news on how Tajiri spent her weekend with Chris and the scoop on Naomi’s secret office admirer….

First things first, my blazers would have to go off; stilettos...hmm, that might stay on but would definitely switch to flats if we were meeting at our regular pub or seeing a movie. Anyway, my hair clip is definitely going off jeez, can't wait, and hope my sleek dark eye shadow is in my makeup bag somewhere, my Victoria’s secret lip gloss...yup, check! And my favorite Iman powder...yes!yes!yes! All i need for my super-duper transition.*sigh* Now counting down to the close of work....

You should try it sometime, if it's a corporate dress, pair of pants trousers, blazer and shirt, get rid of the blazer, unbutton your shirt just a bit, roll up your sleeves, let your hair down, pair on some ballet flats and you're good to go. If you're going for a classy do, pin-up your hair, take your purse and leave your hand bag in the car if you didn't have enough time to pack up a clutch, switch shoes to cute stilleto pointes and be sure to go from ma'm to glam.We all need to unwind at some point during the week, would definitely help the brain and muscles relax. So, the question is what would you be doing after work hours today? As for me, I know where I'd be..... *wink*wink*

Now day dreaming of my glass of margarita ...*whew*
